The Affordable Confocal Upgrade
The Easy and Affordable Upgrade
Introducing Clarity, the compact, easy and affordable upgrade to introduce laser-free confocal imaging to an existing fluorescence microscope.
Clarity packs 15 years of Aurox confocal microscopy and optical expertise and experience into a high performance confocal imaging system.
SUITABLE FOR MICROSCOPES AND MACROSCOPES
Aurox’s Patented Structured Illumination
Designed to fit virtually any microscope, Clarity uses Aurox patented structured illumination and detection technology to achieve high resolution, high quality confocal images, fast, easily and affordably.
Clarity has a standard microscope C-mount connector and a range of coupling adaptors/spacers to fit historic and new microscope models from all major manufacturers.
The height of versatility and adaptability, Clarity is extremely compact, having dimensions 308 x 226 x 135 mm (WDH) and weighing 6Kg. It can be mounted on upright and inverted microscopes, left or right camera ports.

Hamamatsu Orca Flash 4 LT
Hamamatsu Orca Flash 4 V2 (USB 3.0)
PCO Panda
PCO Edge 5.5 USB3
Photometrics 95 Prime BSI
Photometrics 95 Prime B
Andor Zyla 5.5 USB
Tucsen Dhyana BSI V3
FILTER FLEXIBILITY
4-position Filter Cube Turret
Clarity incorporates an internal 4-position filter cube turret, accessed via an external door. The turret accepts Aurox custom sized filter cubes which incorporate both emission and excitation filters. These filter cubes are quick and easy to change by hand.
A wide range of Aurox filter cubes are available to cover the commonly used bandwidths including multi-pass quad band filter cubes.
Custom filter cubes can be produced for specific applications.
VISIONARY SOFTWARE

Fast and Easy to Use
Clarity comes with the Aurox Visionary device control and image acquisition software.
Visionary which is fast and easy to use, allows the user to set experimental protocols and control a device using a simple one colour coded work-flow, under a single graphical user interface.
Key features of Visionary include:
z-stack imaging
Mosaic image tiling
Time-lapse & multi-channel multi-position imaging
Confocal, wide-field & bright-field modes
3 sectioning modes for optimised resolution or speed
OME-TIFF file format
One-click image export
CLARITY HIGH SPEED (HS) VERSION

Up to 100 frames per second
The high speed version, ClarityHS provides up to 100 frames per second imaging when paired with a compatible high speed camera e.g. Hamamatsu Flash 4.0 V3 with “Camera link option” and a Shuttle computer.
WINDOWS INSTRUMENT CONTROL COMPUTER
Stand alone instrument and control
Clarity has the option of delivery with an instrument control computer installed with the Aurox Visionary software. The computer is connected by USB and can be either a compact NUC or a Shuttle PC.
